This half term the project theme was Allotment so everyone in Year 6 and Year 5 visited the local allotments in Cefn Caeau where Communities First told us all about setting up an allotment. Next we visited The Botanic Gardens to study plants from other climates and to sow seeds. This inspired children to plant seeds and create a tabletop allotment of their own back at school.

 We now look forward to establishing an allotment area in school to grow our own vegetables and flowers.

 Next term Year 6 and Year 5 will be working on a project called Beast Creator when they will be studying habitats and living things. They aim to create a beast to guard their garden!
